with a sense of humor.

Respectfully.

Start helping your child or youth.

Choose play partners at birth.

Do not lecture. Instead Share your thoughts.

Be an example.

Continue until child can decide.

Provide feedback when/after a play friend is found.

Do the same after puberty!

Now they are an adult. Not just your child.

Encourage. not demand, good choices.

Ignore or discuss and "defuse" "bad" ones.
